Loran Jacobs joined officially the iPavlov Conversational AI Lab in the end of 2019. By the time, Jacobs, a celebrated alumni and holder of Ph.D. in Quantum Physics from MIPT (Phystech), had joined the Lab, the iPavlov Neurointelligence Project had been in making at least since 2017. The project iPavlov had been announced jointly by Sberbank, MIPT and the Venture Capital Fund RVC as early as in 2016, although the concept of an Artificial Intelligence project focused on Conversational AI had been formulated by the Agency of Strategic Initiatives back in 2014, almost immediately after its own creation. Loran, who had transitioned into top management roles, since receiving his second Ph.D. in the field Quantum Information Theory in 2011,
was aware better than the most, of this defining feature of emerging, world-changing tech. He became part of a new wave of entrepreneurs and executives known as Technopreneurs - science-based Executives deeply rooted in Fundamental Scientific Explorations while ideally poised to break the existing, traditional markets with ground-shifting innovations.
