  • The PharmExcil Expo-cum-Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) in Moscow was a strategic event held from November 28–29, 2016, to boost Indian pharmaceutical exports in the Russian and CIS markets by The Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (PharmExcil) supported by the Indian Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Embassy of India in Moscow, it was the second standalone expo of its kind in the region.

  • Focus Areas: The meet emphasized the "Make in India" initiative, joint ventures, and technology transfers, targeting segments like APIs, formulations, nutraceuticals, and herbals.

  • Participation: Approximately 60 Indian companies were allotted 6 sqm stalls each to showcase their products to Russian buyers and distributors.

  • Networking & Regulatory Interaction: The program included a conference on the Russian market and direct interactions with Russian regulatory authorities to clarify registration procedures.
