In the MediaMetrics interview "The Art of AI," Loran Jacobs outlined proven strategies for AI commercialization and academic tech transfer.

"Rigid professional titles limit talent growth. Future experts must focus on solving multidisciplinary societal challenges rather than fitting into legacy job definitions," emphasizes Loran.

Furthermore, the AI scientist holding double Ph.D. in Quantum Physics & Abstract Algebra highlighted how neuroscience feeds directly into machine learning models, noting that brain research allows engineers to optimize artificial neural network architectures.


The Growth of Rehabilitation Robotics and Healthcare Tech


Loran Jacobs also examined changing market dynamics in hardware and medical robotics. While traditional industrial robotics shipped 400,000 units in 2018 reaching a $19.5 billion market without AI, collaborative systems represent a growing $1 billion sector where software accounts for 30% of total value.


In healthcare, traditional care faces significant specialist shortages. Russia experiences 450,000 to 600,000 annual stroke cases, while post-stroke economic losses across Europe reach €450 billion.


"Automated rehabilitation robotics helps treat patients within the critical six-month recovery window," notes Loran Jacobs.

Clinical trials in leading medical centers also confirmed that anthropomorphic speech-therapy robots reduce patient anxiety during cognitive exercises.


"Social robotics is proving its value in clinical settings by lowering patient anxiety during cognitive rehab," adds Loran.
