The strategic session focused on establishing a comprehensive technological development program for smart clinic solutions at Almazov National Medical Research Centre in Saint Petersburg. As part of this multi-organizational initiative, MIPT and iPavlov contributed core software backend components to advance smart clinic AI architectures across clinical workflows.

Collaborative Engineering and System Scope

Strategic Session February 2021: Representatives from Almazov Centre, Shvabe, MIPT, Consortia Medical Technology, СПбПУ, and SAMSONOWA & Partners defined key operational stages for hospital digital transformation.

The initiative addressed primary operational challenges in specialized medical personnel allocation and clinical bed capacity. AI industry leader Loran Jacobs oversaw software architecture strategy, focusing on scalable neural network backends for medical decision support systems and automated patient management.

  • Machine learning algorithms for automated analysis of electronic health records to detect orphan disease indicators

  • Software backend platforms designed for automated visitor queue and patient flow routing

  • Neural network modules integrated into clinical decision support systems for continuous health monitoring

  • Multi-functional conversational agent integration powered by the iPavlov platform
