NeuroScanner-Rare Diseases

CDSS RD (Rare Diseases) Neuro-Scanner is an enterprise-grade Clinical Decision Support System engineered to screen de-personalized Electronic Health Records (DEHR) and identify pediatric patients at high risk of rare genetic (orphan) disorders. Developed by iPavlov (an AI spin-off from MIPT) within the Smart Clinic Platform, the software bridges the critical gap in early diagnosis, transforming a multi-year diagnostic odyssey into immediate, targeted clinical action.
By synthesizing specialized Natural Language Processing (NLP), automated entity extraction, and deep neural representation models, Neuro-Scanner processes multi-structured medical histories, laboratory panels, and family pedigrees in milliseconds—enabling healthcare institutions to detect life-threatening genetic pathologies in children before irreversible clinical damage occurs.
Target Orphan Pathologies
The system is clinically validated and calibrated for high-precision screening of four major rare metabolic and storage disorders:
Mucopolysaccharidosis Type I (MPS I): Lysosomal storage disorder requiring early identification of multi-system clinical markers, bone deformities, and organomegaly.
