PipePulse: Smart Pipeline Integrity Monitoring

Development of design and technological solutions for the integration of sensors into the protective coating of the pipeline, ensuring their protection during the transportation of pipes, installation and operation of the pipeline and options for communication of sensors into a single network during the installation of the pipeline, including in the field. 2. Development of schemes for the installation of def:> sensors (number, location of sensors on the pipe and frequency of installation of pipes with sensors integrated into the coating on the pipeline), providing real-time monitoring of the voltage state (SSS) of the pipeline with a given accuracy. Development of methods for assessing the stress state of the pipeline based on the results of measuring local def:> along the pipeline, identifying extreme values of SSS and their location. H. Development of a methodology and algorithm for determining the location and intensity of leaks, determining the method of location of the signal cable relative to the pipeline, based on the operating conditions of the pipeline and the transported medium. 4. Selection of connectors that provide reliable, tight and fast connection of sensors into a single network when the pipeline is installed in the field. Optical budget estimation (determination of the number of sensors that can be connected in sequence but without loss of system operability). 5. Development of National modules of the monitoring system and assessment of the cost of production. 6. Selection and development of equipment for making a pipe layout with embedded pipes, cable network and devices for processing sensor readings of the def:> monitoring system for extended sections of the pipeline.
